Building Resilience & Wellbeing - For Individuals & Organisations

In these Post-Covid times where the goalposts seem like they are constantly shifting, many of us are facing considerable challenges which can feel insurmountable, whether it’s personally or in our work.

Feeding our resilience has never been more important so we can enjoy the fruits of experiencing better wellbeing. When we feel better physically and mentally, we perform better and we’re more likely to thrive as humans in a more uncertain world and find life more meaningful.

I offer coaching and therapy to help individuals to manage themselves better and pre-empt what so often happens without help - ongoing stress and crises which show up in all sorts of ways (including insomnia, lack of energy, addictions and ill health).

At the heart of this Resilience and Wellbeing (RAW) work is plugging you back into your unique Character Strengths. These are the ingredients of what makes us great and we are most likely to feel better about life when we flex these muscles that we all have but can lose sight of when things feel too much.

For Individuals

I support individuals facing all sorts of challenges which can blow them off-course - examples of issues:

  • Crisis of confidence in a new business role

  • Day to day business challenges and people problems

  • Personal issues (caring responsibilities, illness, divorce) impacting on work

  • Work issues (bullying, overload, disorganisation) impacting on home life

Coaching can help where the problem is something anyone in your shoes would struggle with. You might just need support with finding a more useful perspective or guidance on how to use your resources more effectively. Sometimes therapy is the answer if there’s something deeper getting in the way of your potential to manage what you’re facing. For so many people, the answer can be a bit of both.

RAW Workshops For Organisations

I also offer resilience and wellbeing workshops for organisations looking to offer teams a more proactive kind of support over and above the usual ‘collapse & repair’ intervention or awareness-raising training.

These workshops are designed to help people at all levels manage themselves better. They will include:

  • Learning about unhelpful patterns and what gets in the way of feeding mental resilience

  • Managing self-talk

  • Using Character Strengths as a resilience tool to unlock human potential

  • How to re-purpose negative emotions

  • Assessing wellbeing

  • Using boundaries effectively

  • Unlocking limiting beliefs
